MY LITTLE GIRL IS ONE!!!

I'm a little late on getting her pictures taken but better late than never right!

She is 13 1/2 mo old and just getting cuter and cuter everyday.

I thought since her last cake didn't turn out how I wanted it I would make another one the way I wanted it. I thought it was going to be easy but dealing w fondant was SO HARD.

It's so HOT down here that we spend ALOT of time at the pool. 

Jaylee absolutely LOVES the water and can't get enough of it.

It was pretty good that they got everyone to at least put them around their wrists except the kids were better sports.

FAMILY TIME IN S.L.C and Park City. 

We took a trip up North for a wedding and decided to make a weeks vacation out of it. 

Visiting family, Out w Girlfriends, Swimming at Cottonwood Heights and then up to Mt. Side Marriot in Park City  to stay for 3 days. 

We had a blast and enjoyed seeing everyone. 

Soaking wet but didnt care, she was having to much fun.

Nolan is such an amazing Dad.

Jenny and Brock and her cute kids came up and spent the day w us.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAYLEE!

We had Jaylee's first birthday on Saturday and the Wind decided to take over. I have been planning this party for about 2 mo now and had so many cute decorations, ideas of what I wanted it to look like and had the cake picked out to be made and all.. 

What could be worse than wind???? Nothing.

 It ruined all that I had planned. 

Couldn't set up decorations...........

Pizza, table cloths, paper lanterns, bowls, plates and more all blew away.........

CAKE TIPPED OVER............... thats when I lost it. 

Yep, Mom in tears and Jaylee still just loving life. I think the party was more for me than her but I think all us moms do that. (At least I hope I'm not the only one)

Kinda funny now, but oh was I mad. Jaylee enjoyed her birthday and I can't thank everyone in our family enough for coming and supporting Jaylee. Even though I thought it was ruined, we still had a blast.

After all the partying was over we spent time w Nolans family and went swimming. It was a perfect day for Father's Day and we had so much fun.

Jaylee has an obsession w putting her fingers in my mouth. For some reason she loves it. 

And after all that, she was tuckered right out. Slept for 3 hours. 

I am so blessed to have such a sweet little girl. I can't believe how fast she has grown up. I LOVE being her mom and hope I can only be the best mom to her and raise her the right way.

Girls Weekend In Minnesota!!

Nothing like a girls weekend and a little "Time Away". We all need it and I think I was due for this trip. I was so scared to leave Jaylee for the first time. I think I thought she was gonna die w out me but then I realized it was me that might die w out her. 

Weird I know..  BUT......Both her and I somehow survived and I enjoyed being w my girlies for a few days. 

Jalene, Slow Mo (Debra Galindo), and I left on Thursday to go and see our friend Deb in Minnesota. Deb got us a great hotel room downtown and here are a few pics of the things we did. 

We went on a walk that was so Beautiful. I dont think I've ever "Enjoyed" a walk as much as this one. Thanks Deb for the tour. 

A boat ride on the Mississippi River. 

Went out to lunch at some cute little place on the street.

11 HOURS LATER!!!

We got there when it opened and didn't leave until they full on shut the doors on us. We were still shoping when they pulled the door down waiting for us to leave. We had a blast. 

Hell's Kitchten.. I was so excited to go here after watching a few shows w "Chef Ramsey" He makes you think this food is to die for.. UM....... Not so much.. I wouldn't recommend it but it was the company that was a hit!

AND THIS IS WHAT I CAME HOME TO...

 AHHHHH my happy little girl. 

I can't believe how much I missed her. She was so excited to see me to. I loved it. 

Of course I missed my sweet husband to but theres something about coming home to your little girl.  Food on her face and all!

Happy Easter and The Past 4 Months

I KNOW I KNOW........I've been HORRIBLE at this blogging stuff. 

We are alive and well. Time has flown by and we are definitely ready for summer. Jaylee just turned 10 months old and is getting so big and a BIG personality to. She is the joy in my life along w my sweet husband of course. Here are a FEW ok ALOT of pics to make up for the past 4 months of not posting.

My girlfriends and I have been so good about getting together once a month or once every 2 months for a girls night out or a sleepover. We LOVE our sleepovers and can't get enough of each other. Jalene and I usually have to make the trip to SLC to see everyone but everyone FINALLY came down to see us and stayed at my house for the weekend. 

PEDICURES, FOOD, and TALKING ALL NIGHT LONG IS ALL WE NEEDED. 

I am so thankful for the friendship that we all have. I don't know what I would do w out these girls. We are so lucky to have each other. I love you girls. Thanks so much for coming down. 

Gotta love relaxing and getting pedicures. 

We somehow all wore matching clothes so of course it called for a photo shoot. I brought my tripod and set up shop. If only I could be a better photographer. Someday.

MY LITTLE ANGEL. 

The past 4 months she has grown up so much. Just a few little updates.  

She loves sitting in front of the mirror and laughs at herself. 

After eating her first cookie ever. Those little puppy dogs eyes melt me. 

LOVES RIPPING TISSUE APART. 

I turned around for 10 sec. and she had made a huge mess. So cute though. 

Her new favorite cookies.. At 9 mo the Dr. said go ahead and give her the foods you eat. HA HA.. I'm such a chicken and freak out thinking she's gonna choke. BUT I've given her little things every day and realized she really can do it. 

COOKIES ARE HER FAVORITE. 

Being the good mom I am (I'd like to think that), I have totally taught her how to say her prayers, fold her arms and close her eyes. HA HA!! 

BATHING IN THE SINK????

I threw my back completely out. I was down for almost a month. I couldn't pick up Jaylee at all the first few weeks and then couldn't bend over. If I had to bathe her it had to be in the sink. She really quite liked it. 

She does this facial expression all the time. Squishes up her nose and blows really hard over and over. It keeps us laughing. 

BEING SICK!!! YUCK

She has been sick 3 times in the past 4 mo. NOT FUN.. She is such a little sweetheart though and you cant help but pamper her. She just wanted to lay down w her blanky and watch little einsteins and relax and thats what she got. 

AHHHHH!!!!! 

Shes learned to take her bows off and it drives me crazy!! Everyone warned me and yep, she does it too. 

The remote is her all time favorite toy along w wripping her bows off. 

MERRY CHRISTMAS.. a little late

JAYLEE'S FIRST TIME W SANTA AND MRS. CLAUSE!!

We went to a little shindig where Santa and Mrs. Clause read stories to the kids and they made snowmen w marshmellows and took pictures w Santa. They were perfect. 

Jaylee did great and didn't even cry. She LOVED santa.. We'll see how she does next year. 

HER FIRST TIME IN THE SNOW.

We went up to SLC for Christmas w Nolans family. Of course it was freezing and thats the one thing we don't miss about living up there.. We bundled Jaylee up and she quite liked the snow.

This is Nixon, Jaylee's cousin. (Jennies little boy) They look like they could be twins. How crazy is that.

6 Month Appt..

We had Jaylee's 6 mo appt the other day and this is how we started the day... HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY, lots of energy and of course cute as can be. BUT that all ended after 4 LONG unexpected hours at the Dr's and then the hospital for a CAT SCAN.

GOOD NEWS: She weighs a big 14 lbs is 25 inches long but her head is 45 cm which is what wasn't good news. I always knew her head was a little bigger but I guess it's a problem now. Her soft spot isn't closing like it should either so he is concerned that there may be pressure on her brain (Possible Hydrochephalis) and if so she will need a shunt placed to relieve the pressure so that it doesn't cause any damage. Of course this wasn't the kind of news we wanted to hear but we are being positive and hoping everything will be ok. We got the x ray taken but now they want us to go see a specialist for further reviews and another opinion.

Waiting patiently for the Dr to come in. She was already getting tired and we had a few more hours to go. 

This is her Dr.   Dr. Clark. He is a great guy and I am really pleased w how well he takes care of Jaylee and also how personable he is. 

Look at her poor eyes. She's getting so sleepy. 

Now time for her shots. These nurses are the sweetest girls and they always feel bad they have to do this to her. I felt bad taking a picture cuz yes, I should be holding her hands but she is so dang cute afterward. She only cries for a sec and then wimpers w her bottom lip out saying... "OUCH THAT KINDA HURT MOM"

Getting ready for the cat scan. (I hope thats how you spell it). I was kinda mad at the guy taking it cuz he kept saying after smashing her head even more inbetween these pads w tape that  "I NEEDED TO MAKE HER HOLD MORE STILL" HELLO... she is 6 mo old like that is possible when she is in a giant machine and scared to death. I don't think he was to happy that I took a picture either.

I was laughing so hard when I downloaded this picture and realized she was flipping the bird. I was just wanting to get her droopy eyes and she wanted to show me how she really felt. She had missed 2 naps and was telling me "I've had enough mom, take me home so I can get some sleep already" 

She's starting the Starley hello already. Oh boy!!
